Patio canopies are awnings meant to cover larger square footage. Framework consists of electro-plated steel tube, custom built to your deck, patio, or porch's dimensions.

Fabric covering must be removed for winter, as patio canopies are not designed to bear snow loads. Do-it-yourself removal is a snap since the fabric is laced onto the frame with industrial rope; however Igl Awning does offer seasonal take-down, storage and canopy installation services, too.

Drop curtains are exterior grade, rope and pulley operated fixtures meant to shade and / or winterize all season rooms, screenrooms, and are even used with stationary canopies. These can be fashioned out of acrylic or vinyl-laminated polyester fabrics, or even out of crystal clear 19 or 30mil all-weather vinyl.

Curtains are fastened securely in place with twistable auto-buttons, or are held in the rolled-up position with industrial rope.
